Began using thos during the pandemic. I'm a believer, still purchasing regularly.Absolutely, will not be buying this again. Maybe I'm used to the soft bamboo TP products, but this feels, incredibly thin and scratchy. It is absorbent enough, as a 2 ply but just not happy with it and wish I hadn't bought a whole case of 48.CostI buy Marcal all the time. I support the use of recyclable materials and discourage the use of growing trees just to harvest them for human consumption. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because I neglected to read and understand the description. The toilet paper I buy in the store is about 24 rolls for 11-12 dollars. This price is comparable, and it's the same manufacturer who I always intend on supporting. However the toilet paper I am used to buying in the supermarket is 1-ply sheets (which is all I think I really need) rather than this 2-ply sheets. These rolls disappear faster and therefore, must be replaced more frequently. However, 2-ply is nice if you are used to the thick comfort of the ball of it while wiping. I find it to be taking up more space in the toilet, and therefore the sewage system. Prefer the single ply. But nonetheless, some of the best-priced completely earth-friendly, non-bleached, toilet paper! Bravo Marcal! I love you!!!Toilet paper has only one use.I have been using Marcal products (paper towels, table napkins and toilet paper) for years. No problems.I've been buying this for a few years, since it's the only reasonably priced recycled paper that I've been able to find. Since that's important to me, I'll buy it even if it isn't as soft as, say, Charmin. With the last package I bought, the manufacturing process seemed to have a few glitches -- too much glue, or whatever they use, sealing the end of the roll, so it is hard to get started, and some of the cardboard rolls are a little .... crunched is the only way I can describe it. However, it's generally good toilet paper and, as long as you have room to store it, it's nice to not have to buy TP except every few months.Tissue is tissue some might say. I say nope, no way. As far as tissue goes, it does its job. with a little more depth, I will say it is thick in a tough kind of way. It is definitely not soft, but I'm not big on those kinds because I hate the left over lint. I think it is that way because it's recycled. You have to be careful not to use too much because it is thicker than normal and will clog your toilet if bunched up and you don't have a lot of pressure. Other than that, it is an excellent buy for your money.
